Modelling the Behaviour of Vegetation Indicators (NDVI - NDWI - IPVI) in Busaiya District Using GIS-RS

Abstract GIS and remote sensing techniques are widely used to detect analyze vegetation changes because of their accuracy effectiveness as well low cost. Among the various spectral indicators derived from satellite data (Landsat data) (NDWI - IPVI NDVI) applied model variation in ecosystems behavior study area, pretreatment geometric corrections were performed using Arc 10.2.2, The results (NDVI) indicator showed that area is characterized by availability cover many types natural plants after precipitation season (winter), growth increases intensively within category middle category, with an (5600.12) km 2 a percentage (19.79)%, it concentrated In southern southeastern sections Busaiya, dense group was northern section, (80.72) rate (0.28%) which includes areas invested agriculture, addition separate Badiya Busaya (Desert Busaiya), through (NDWI) index, found bright white Northeastern part sand dunes, represents 3726.73 13.17%, while dark color gradient represented green second (10846.97)Km (38.34 percent) third (13633.89) square kilometers or 48.21 percent. (IPVI) index for average summer reached (13876.79) at (49.07%), winter (5600.13) Km ( 19.79%). As vegetation, its (4.79) km2 (0.02)%, (0.29)%.
